Contaminated Lands Technical Director seeking Permanent Role 25+ years of consultancy Experience

Technical Director with years of geology experience and over 23 years in the environmental field (starting in California and then in Australia). He holds a B.A in Geology, a M.S. in Environmental Science and He is a registered Professional Geologist. Previous roles include Project Manager, Project Director, Technical Director, NSW H&S Advisor, and Business Unit Manager. His primary area of expertise is soil and groundwater assessments for sites impacted by fuel products, metals and chlorinated solvents. Assessment experience includes the use of Gore-Sorbers, slug tests, pump tests, fate & transport modelling and background fluorescence analysis (BFA). LNAPL assessments have been completed with baildown and skimming tests for transmissivity along with diagnostic gauge plots. High Resolution Site Characterisation (HRSC) tools include cone penetrometer testing (CPT), hydrualic profiling tool (HPT), membrane interface probes (MIP), and laser induced fluorescence (LIF). Other technical skills include sampling for soil vapor, surface water, stormwater, and anthrax. Clients include petroleum companies, energy companies, chemical manufacturers and other industrial / commercial clients. Extensive experience with service stations, fuel depots, emoleum depots, fuel terminals, rail sidings and aviation fueling facilities for Shell/Viva Energy, Mobil, Caltex and BP. He is now immediately available and now seeking his next permanent role in either a consultancy or client side PM firm.
