We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Maintenance to join our client's team at an underground mining operation in Alabama, USA. If you are a dedicated professional with a strong background in Longwall Underground operations and a passion for safety, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do:

• Lead and direct maintenance teams, ensuring optimal equipment performance and availability.
• Manage budgets, staffing, and scheduling for maintenance activities.
• Develop and maintain preventative/predictive maintenance programs.
• Drive continuous improvement projects to boost mine efficiency and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and statutory requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the company.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Longwall Underground operations.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience.
• Graduate and post-graduate qualifications in a related field.
• Strong leadership skills, with a focus on safety and operational efficiency.
