Position Overview:

Join our client's team in East Africa as a Geotechnical Superintendent, where you'll play a pivotal role in their operations. Responsibilities:

• Provide geotechnical input for mining and mine planning processes.
• Maintain and update the Ground Control Management Plan.
• Design geotechnical stope and development support.
• Analyze and evaluate underground stability monitoring systems.
• Manage ground support projects, including costing and budgeting.
• Conduct hydrogeological work and analyze technical reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Generate regular geotechnical reports and uphold health and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in underground mining, with a focus on rock mechanics.
• Proficiency in geotechnical design software.
• Strong understanding of mine layouts and ground control principles.
