Job Description:

Due to recent project wins, our client urgently requires a Senior Pipeline Engineer to join their team in Brisbane on a full-time basis - handsome salary on tier 1 projects. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of pipeline projects, from initial tendering stages through to project completion. This role requires strong project management abilities, exceptional engineering knowledge, and excellent communication skills to ensure the successful delivery of projects within budget and schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide management, engineering, and administrative coordination for estimating, designing, supplying, installing, and testing pipeline projects.
• Support the successful and profitable bidding of projects by providing engineering expertise.
• Identify key risks and provide technical solutions to mitigate them.
• Liaise between construction teams and engineering departments to ensure project success.
• Drive operational improvements and efficiencies throughout project lifecycles.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to budget and schedule constraints.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Project controls knowledge and delivery skills, including contract administration, forecasting, and schedule management.
• Excellent engineering knowledge, preferably in the pipeline industry.
• Ability to relate construction teams' feedback to engineering practices.
• Proficiency in CAD software and oscilloscopes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and data analysis abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the pipeline or HDD industry.
• Experience with pre-contracts and field engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage projects effectively.
